Devneuro Ltd provides expert witness services in personal injury and clinical negligence cases involving children and young people.

Our mission is to bring the highest clinical standards to the medico-legal field by supporting experienced professionals to deliver clear, balanced and well-evidenced opinions to the Courts.

Devneuro Ltd was incorporated in 2012 and, from 2020, began recruiting associates across paediatric neuropsychology, educational psychology, and speech and language therapy. We now have a broad range of over 20 associate clinicians offering expert opinions to the courts, and more in training.

We recruit and develop leading clinicians, providing them with training and mentoring throughout their practice.  Devneuro ensures every associate has the knowledge and guidance they need, so that instructing parties can rely on quality assurance for each piece of work commissioned.

Our paediatric neuropsychologists have been engaged from the top teaching hospitals, specialist neuroscience centres and rehabilitation centres to ensure their expertise when dealing with complex brain injuries.

Our educational psychologists come from a range of settings but all have a background in Local Authority work with specialist experience in addition.

Our associates’ expertise includes: birth injuries, cerebral palsy, sensory impairments, physical disabilities, complex neurodisability and neurodiversity, neurorehabilitation, neurological impairments, adult specific learning difficulties, acquired brain injuries and mental health needs.

Our speech therapists have expertise in complex communication difficulties, feeding assessments and assistive technology in children with acquired and developmental neurodisabilities.

Assessments are conducted in children’s schools or homes as appropriate, with some neuropsychological assessments undertaken in clinic settings. We have experts based all over the country.

Devneuro provides associates with training, mentoring and on-going support and advice to ensure they are able to produce high quality assessments and opinions. Continuous professional development is a key part of our working practice.
